As long as I can remember, I have always loved flowers. It started in my Mom's garden, where I had a small spot to call my own. I loved watching the spring bulbs come up and to this day, seeing the tulips, daffodils, and muscari start to peek through the ground is my favourite time of year.

When I got my first job in high school, it was only fitting that it was at a garden centre.  There I really started to learn about all the beautiful plants and flowers that grow. Listening to the horticulturists speak, I would absorb it all, falling even more in love with flowers and their changing seasons.

In 2001, I moved on to work in a beautiful flower shop in the east end where I mentored with an amazing designer and knowledgeable gardener. Once I made my first bouquet, I knew where my passion truly lay. Over the next ten years I worked at some of what I consider to be Toronto's top flower shops, learning and growing from many talented women along the way. In the end of 2011, I realized that although I loved working for others, I really wanted to go out on my own to share my love of flowers, design and nature with clients on a more personal level.  And so began Coquette Studios.

Coquette Studios has given me the opportunity to share the part I love about flowers most - creating a special moment or day with each client.  I have found it so fulfilling and I feel blessed every day that my hands get to create beauty with flowers. My personal design style is lush and natural pulling my inspirations from nature, but I truly love when clients bring me their vision so I have the opportunity to create something unique just for them. I would love to help bring your vision of beauty to life through flowers and look forward to meeting you!  xo
